The search for Nipissing University's next president is underway, but will stretch into next summer.
"The University has engaged the services of a professional search firm to assist in finding candidates for this important role, Meghan Venasse, Manager of Communications told BayToday. "We anticipate that the new president will be in place by July 1, 2021."
Nipissing has been without a president since Dr. Mike DeGagné, stepped down to become the president of Yukon University. Degagne then quit that job to become president of Indspire Canada’s largest Indigenous-led and Indigenous-focused charity.
