Police have arrested and charged a 23-year-old North Bay woman with assault with a weapon, after a victim was pepper-sprayed Friday evening.
At 7 p.m. on November 22, a woman visited the victim’s home in North Bay. Police say the two are known to one another.
Police say an argument broke out and the woman assaulted the victim using MACE, also known as pepper spray and a knife. Pepper spray is created with Oleoresin capsicum, a naturally occurring substance derived from hot peppers.
The victim was able to remove the attacker from the residence, at which point she fled. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Later that same day, police found and arrested her.
Pamela Ann Resko is charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Administer a noxious thing
- Failing to comply with a probation order
Resko was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
