Two North Bay people have been charged with drug trafficking after a drug bust on Main St. last week.
As part of an investigation, on August 29 North Bay Police Service’s Emergency Response Team executed a warrant at a home on Main Street West. In the residence, police found and arrested the two accused.
Searches resulted in the seizure of:
- A machete
- 22 grams of cocaine
- 13 grams of Fentanyl
- Less than one (1) gram of crack cocaine
- Two cell phones
- cash
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $6,340.
Shaquon Tyrell Anthony Morris, male, 24, is charged with:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule I substance
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Tracy Ann McBride, female, 43, is charged with:
- Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule I substance
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
The two were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
