Lunch hour accident snarls Lakeshore traffic

Nobody was hurt in the traffic accident, which looked worse than it was

Traffic at Lakeshore and Marshall Ave. was backed up over the lunch hour after a two-vehicle accident combined with construction on Marshall dropped traffic to a crawl.

Nobody was hurt in the traffic accident, which looked worse than it was.

Driver of the car, Pauline Jean told BayToday she wants everyone to know she's ok and no-one was hurt.

She says she was leaving the Lakeshore exit from Tim Hortons when she was struck by a white truck, which spun her car into the southbound lanes. The truck only suffered light damage according to Jean.

Lakeshore traffic was reduced to a single lane for southbound traffic, while northbound traffic was detoured onto Marshall Ave.
