Local couple facing multiple drug charges

An ongoing cooperative effort by the North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit and the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau has led to two people being arrested and charged

A man and a woman face several drug charges as a result of a joint forces illicit drug investigation

Shortly after 10 p.m. on May 25, the investigation led to a traffic stop by the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau on Highway 11 just south of North Bay. Two people were arrested and a search resulted in the seizure of 264.3 grams of cocaine and $4,553 in cash.

The investigation continued with a search warrant being conducted on an additional vehicle and a residence located on Lakeshore Drive in North Bay.

This resulted in the seizure of;

  • Approximately 5 grams of suspected cocaine.
  • Packaging material
  • Digital scales
  • Cutting agents

An ongoing cooperative effort by the NBPS Street Crime Unit and the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau has led to two people being arrested and charged:

Lee Fuller, 38 of Powassan is charged with:

  • Traffic a controlled substance
  • Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime
  • Fail to comply with a release order

Alicia Di Ivlio, 37, of North Bay is charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance
  • Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The combined street value of the drugs and substances seized, along with the cash, totaled approximately $31,493.

Police also seized a 2020 black Audi car as offence related property.

Fuller remains in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse. The co-accused Alicia Di Ivlio was released and will appear in the North Bay Courthouse on July 14.
