Last day for Starbucks

Time to get that last local Mocha Frappuccino.

The only Starbucks outlet in North Bay, located in the Target store on Algonquin, is closing today.

Although Target has announced it is closing all 133 of its stores in Canada, no date has been given for the local one.

Target expects to begin the liquidation process in two to three weeks.

Contacted by BayToday about whether the coffee chain might open in a different location, a spokesperson for Starbucks Canada said "We can not disclose any information at this time."
