City police are saying this morning that an incident on King St. yesterday was a fight.
"This was an isolated incident that resulted in an altercation between two groups of people outside a home on King Street East," says Constable Merv Shantz. "There were no serious injuries."

Shantz says several people were taken into custody and some charges were laid.
The incident drew a response from both city police and OPP.
Police say the fight started at 7:49 in the morning and by afternoon was being called "an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public."
Witnesses report blood on the sidewalk outside a King St. home.
Shantz promises that the specifics will be made public in a media release tomorrow as the incident is still being sorted out by investigators.
