A two vehicle crash at the intersection of Seymour Avenue and Hwy 11 has caused at least one driver to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

About 11:30 Friday morning, a grey car and a gold truck struck each other almost head on.

The impact caused the truck to turn about ninety degrees. It was pushed back millimetres from cars at the lights.

Glass, car and truck pieces flew in every direction with the crash.

The car might have been turning left was sent into a circle, stopping after climbing the curb and hitting the vehicle waiting to turn left.

Emergency vehicles were fast on the scene.  Good Samaritans helped the two women out of the truck and to the curb. Both were visibly shaken.

Traffic was backed up on Seymour Ave but moving well on Hwy 11 with OPP officers directing traffic.
