Ice Follies 2023 10th Anniversary Festival officially opens tonight at 6 p.m. with the opening reception.
The free event will kick off with Aanmitaagzi Performance.at Shabogesic Beach entitled ALL MY R(el)ATIONS by the renowned Indigenous performance group Aanmitaagzi at 7. “All My R(el)ations explores stories of the rationing of our culture, language, traditional territory and ourselves.” says Sid Bobb, Co-Artistic Director of Aanmitaagzi.
The outdoor event features 11 art projects made just for the icy festival. Free refreshments will be available on opening night to help warm festival-goers.

Ice Follies: nbagzi mkwam (Thin Ice) is a two week festival that takes place on frozen Lake Nipissing It features a wide variety of ice-based activities and events for the whole family to enjoy. Check out the full schedule at icefollies.ca
