UPDATE: 511 Ontario noted the highway was reopened around 11:45 a.m.
Late Thursday afternoon the OPP told BayToday "it was a single vehicle collision involving a Tractor Trailer Unit, no injuries, the highway was opened a few hours ago and the driver was charged with Careless Driving."

The OPP report the northbound lanes on Highway 11 between Powassan and Callander are closed due to a collision which occurred around 7 a.m. Thursday morning.
The OPP and 511 Ontario both reported the closure but details relating to the cause and the amount of vehicles involved are not available at this time.
