In honour of National Volunteer Week 2008, the staff, and Board of Directors of Heritage North Bay wish to extend a heart felt ‘thank you’ to all of our amazing volunteers

Thanks to Heritage North Bay volunteers, residents of North Bay and visitors to our community have an opportunity to immerse themselves in the past in an engaging and innovative new Discovery North Bay Museum facility in the former CPR building in downtown North Bay.

Further, Heritage North Bay volunteers continue to offer a one of a kind experience with the Heritage Railway and Carousel Company. Truly a showpiece for the community, both the carousels and the mini train are a delight for all ages. For $1 per ride, we are proud to offer unique, economical, family entertainment.

Further, the hard work of the North Bay Heritage Gardeners volunteers, some with over 10 years of dedicated volunteer effort to the beautification of our city is to be celebrated. Our waterfront gardens and pathways are the pride of North Bay thanks to this hard working group.
