A long-time tradition of celebrating Halloween continues on again this year at 712 Stockdale Road.
"My son and daughter are 34 and 36 now and I've been doing it since they were little, and every year I try to add something different to it, or make it a different theme. Now I do it for my grandchild," owner Jane Doan told BayToday.
It takes Jane and her husband Gord two to three weeks to set up the display because they also decorate inside their house.
Of all the holidays, Halloween is Jane's favourite.
"I love the kids coming to the door. Some of them are actually terrified to come up the walkway, but especially the small ones, they love coming up."
Besides the costumes and lights there are also sound effects.
She doesn't have a favourite display because it changes every year, but has settled on a witches and Freddy Krueger theme this year.
"The kids love it. Every year they come and we have families that drive up in their van and don't go to our neighbours, but drop their kids of and the kids come in here," she smiled.
