The Gofundme account has a goal of  $15,000 with over a third of that raised in only a few hours Thursday afternoon.

"September 14th 2016 Brad was in a motorcycle accident," says the website. "Sometimes life stops. In one moment all is forgotten. Today is one of those days, a friend, and a brother, a husband, and a papa is battling for his life. His heart is one that many of us strive to have. He fills us with laughter and love. This day I ask that you all pray for our friend Brad and his family during this difficult time. We all know Brad works hard to make sure his family has what they need. Brad will be fighting with all his strength and determination. This account has been created with the hope we can raise enough money so the family can have no financial stress and be together with Brad.
Love you, Brother and Papa! Xo"

"After undergoing a five-hour surgery he is out. They managed to stop the bleeding in his brain, and they set his leg with pins. They are keeping him in a medically induced coma and are cooling his body temperature to relieve stress on his brain. The doctors stated they give him 60-70% chance of pulling through, the real challenges now will be the extent of the damage done to the brain at the time of the accident. They stated that while the chances of a full recovery are low they are not impossible. Please keep Brad in your thoughts and prayers while he recovers from this tragic event."

Martin remains in a Sudbury hospital with life-threatening injuries according to his nephew Justin. He had surgery yesterday but doctors are still are unsure of the extent of his injuries.
