The North Bay Police Service has picked up the man accused of driving the getaway car involved in the Sept. 24 hold-up of the Algonquin Street CIBC.

Constables Bill McMullen and Den Rice of the North Bay Police Service went to Ottawa overnight to get the man, who had been arrested by the Ottawa Police Service.

Anthony Concordia, 25, of Sutton Street in Ottawa, is charged with robbery and awaits a bail hearing.

Ryan Shawn O'Grady, 25, also of Ottawa, the accused robber, was arrested by police in December and has been charged with robbery with a firearm and pointing a firearm. Police believe he entered the bank, showed a gun and demanded and received cash.

Surveillance cameras in the bank caught the entire incident on videotape.

O'Grady is also a suspect for a robbery in Winnipeg, and is a suspect in other bank robberies in Winnipeg and Sudbury.
