Motorists will notice a bigger bite on their wallet when they gas up today.

Prices overnight jumped about 10 per cent, going from 1.05 yesterday to about 1.14 this morning.

Lowest gas in the city this morning according to GasBuddy is 112.9 at Mac's on Main St.

That puts us well above the provincial average of 106.3 but prices are rising.

If you don't mind leaving the city you can find gas still under a buck a litre.
