Environment Canada has issued a freezing drizzle advisory for:
- North Bay - West Nipissing,
- Burk's Falls - Bayfield Inlet,
Areas of freezing drizzle are expected or occurring.
Patch freezing drizzle this morning and early this afternoon.
Patchy freezing drizzle has developed this morning and will persist into this afternoon.
Untreated surfaces will be icy and slippery as a result of the freezing drizzle.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Be prepared to adjust your driving to changing road conditions.
Freezing drizzle advisories are issued when drizzle falling in sub-zero temperatures is expected to freeze on contact, and over time create icy surfaces.
Also, there is a Fog advisory issued for the Huntsville - Baysville, area.
Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.
Areas of dense fog have developed again early this morning.
Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination.
The fog will lift later this morning or early this afternoon.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
