The Metropolitan Toronto Police Service has already charged Johnson in connection with this robbery and seven others in the Toronto area.
Here is the news release issued by Peel police in relation to the robbery:
MISSISSAUGA, Jan. 31
The Peel Regional Police Central Robbery
Unit are looking for a suspect who robbed the CIBC bank, located at 1161 Dundas Street E., on Friday, the 30th of January.
The suspect entered the bank at about 5:00 p.m. and approached a female teller. The suspect demanded money and then told the teller he had a gun. An undisclosed amount of money was turned over to the suspect, who then fled on
foot. No weapon was seen, and the bank teller was not injured.
The suspect is described as male, white, late 40's to early 50's, 5'8" tall, medium build, with a grey moustache. He was wearing a black toque and black winter jacket. The suspect was caught on the bank's surveillance cameras
