The North Bay Food Bank has a new Executive Director.

She is Debbie Marson, who replaces the outgoing Amber Livingstone, who has held the position since 2012.

"Debbie brings a long history of community leadership and involvement and has deep roots in the Not-for-Profit sector," stated the North Bay Food Bank on its social media platforms.

"Debbie has most recently been involved with the local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society and also currently leads the North Bay Food Bank’s My Team Cares Initiative.

Marson is excited about the opportunity.

"I look forward to working with the Board, Volunteers and our Community to grow the support of the Food Bank that is 100 per cent funded by our community," Marson said.

"This is Your Food Bank. Yours to support and Yours to use and I will work hard to make it a sustainable service for the people of North Bay."

The Board also took time to credit Livingstone for close to a decade of hard work.

"The Board of Directors, both past and present, would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Amber Livingstone for her 8 years of loyalty and service to the Food Bank," they stated.

"Amber’s hard work and dedication to our clients and community will always be appreciated. We wish Amber the best of luck in her future endeavours."
