A winter weather travel advisory is in effect for today. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm. Northwesterly winds gusting to 50 km/h. Reduced visibility in snow and local blowing snow ending in the evening.
Rain showers or periods of drizzle are expected to transition over to snow this morning. Some freezing rain is possible during the transition. The snow and winds will end this evening.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
