OPP are reporting a fatal ATV accident in Elliot Lake last night.
On December 24, at approximately 8 p.m. East Algoma OPP and the Algoma Paramedic Services responded to an ATV accident in a remote location near Gullbeak Lake just west of Elliot Lake.
"A collision occurred resulting in an ATV roll over," say police.
Philip Nowiski, 55, from Elliot Lake was pronounced dead at the scene. The OPP's Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team and Technical Collison Investigator are continuing to investigate.
The investigation is ongoing under the direction of the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service A post mortem examination will take place at a later date.
