West Parry Sound OPP, with the assistance of Huntsville OPP has arrested and charged a man after an incident in the Village of Rosseau in Seguin Township.
Yesterday evening police went to Oak Street in Rosseau regarding a reported assault and arson. One person was arrested at the scene.
George Margeson, 25, from Emsdale, just south of Burk's Falls, is charged with:
- Arson - damage to property
- Assault
- Four scouts of careless storage of firearms
- Failure to comply with an undertaking
- Firearm - use while attempting to commit offence
- Theft under $5,000
- Three counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
Margeson was held for bail and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on August 15.
