Dirt bike rider with no rear light hit with multiple charges

One man was arrested and charged with several offences after police stopped a dirt bike in Callander.

On February 17 just after 9 p.m., a North Bay OPP officer was on general patrol and saw a dirt bike travelling on Callander Bay Drive with no rear lights.

Adam Britt, 41, from East Ferris Township was arrested and charged with:

  • Failure to comply with a release order
  • Drive motor vehicle - no plates
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
  • Drive without proper rear light - motorcycle
  • No mirror
  • Driver fails to surrender licence
  • Drive motor vehicle with improper licence.

Britt was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on March 5.
