Cold doesn't stop Zumba fans

Zumba was created in the 1990's and involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music

Powassan is known as the "Friendly Town", but it's also home to some Zumba fanatics.

The thermometer said -20C, but 250 Clark in Powassan started the New Year off on a warm note with "parking lot Zumba" yesterday.

Instructors from The Studio in North Bay led an energetic class that kept everyone warm.

Zumba was created in the 1990's and involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music.

They'll need warmth later this week as another cold blast of arctic air is predicted.

By Thursday, highs will struggle to minus 20.
