The City of North Bay reports its crews are actively working to repair a watermain break at the Northgate Shopping Centre, in the parking area in front of Walmart.
The City says motorists should expect traffic delays. Vehicles entering Northgate from Fisher Street will be rerouted, requiring traffic to pass directly in front of Walmart’s entrance, which may result in congestion.
While water service disruptions are not anticipated, due to the depth and scope of the excavation, repairs are expected to be lengthy and will likely extend into the evening.
Reports say all stores remain open for business.
