Before the calls and messages start coming in, the City of North Bay is informing residents that one of the area's most recognizable points of interest will be missing in action for up to a month.
Just in case outdoors enthusiasts in Lee Park or motorists using the Lakeshore overpass or Memorial Drive become alarmed by the absent piece of North Bay's history, the City shares Gateway Signs & Services has taken the sign in for maintenance. The work includes repainting and the sign will be returned to its rightful place atop the arch in the next three to four weeks once complete.
