CFB North Bay helps the United Way

This year the 22 Wing/Canadian Forces North Bay raised more than $11,000

The United Way received a generous gift from CFB North Bay this week.

This year the 22 Wing/Canadian Forces North Bay raised more than $11,000.   

“This is the 9th year that 22 Wing has supported the United Way,” stated Erika Lougheed, Manager at United Way Centraide North East Ontario, in a release.   

“Adding this year’s contributions from the incredible generosity of its members, 22 Wing has raised over $130 000 for registered Canadian charities.”  

United Way Centraide North East Ontario works collectively with citizens, business leaders, government, labour, social service agencies, and other organizations to create permanent, positive change in the Nipissing district.

The United Way invests in local, targeted programs and areas that address poverty-related issues that prove to be foundational building blocks of healthy lives and communities.
