Early this morning, around 3:45, the North Bay OPP responded to a collision on Highway 11, Callander involving an automobile and a tractor-trailer unit.
The highway was closed for a couple of hours.
The driver of the automobile, who received minor injuries, was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the North Bay OPP detachment for further testing.
Amber Moffat, 37, of North Bay is charged with:
- Careless driving
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Moffat was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. She is scheduled to appear at the North Bay Ontario Court of Justice on October 22.
