Canadore College to host adult learning open houses

In these uncertain economic times it is a good idea to have a plan. Beginning this month, Canadore College is hosting a series of open houses where the unemployed or underemployed can explore adult learning options.

The goal of the open houses are to help individuals find a program that will lead to sustainable, long-term employment in a growing sector of the economy and discuss financial assistance that is available to them, including the Ontario Government initiative Second Career.

The first open house will be at Canadore's College Drive Campus on January 27 at 6 p.m. in the Weaver Auditorium.

The next open house will be at Canadore's Mattawa Campus (F.J. McElligot High School) on February 17.
