Near North Palliative Care Network is a volunteer organization that provides compassionate support for the terminally ill person and their families in the Nipissing-Parry Sound area and we are in need of volunteers.

As a hospice volunteer, you can:

• Make a difference in someone’s life

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Visit clients, listen, hold a hand

• Allow caregivers to rest

• Provide office support

• Offer information to the community

• Participate in fund-raising events

Our mission is to enhance the comfort, dignity and quality of life of individuals with a terminal illness, and to offer bereavement support throughout the community
