Members of the first North Bay Battalion team gathered with hockey's most treasured trophy on Thursday.
It was two-time Stanley Cup winner Barclay Goodrow's day with the Stanley Cup as he shared it with the town of Aurora and took the Cup to a golf course in Newmarket for a celebration.

At that golf course, Goodrow shared the Cup with some former North Bay Battalion teammates and coaches including Battalion head coach Ryan Oulahen, former head coach Stan Butler plus players Brenden Miller, Brendan O'Neill, Marcus MacIvor, and Connor Jarvis to name a few.
Goodrow became the first North Bay Battalion alum to capture the Stanley Cup and of course now the first Battalion player to win two straight Stanley Cups.
It's been an interesting summer for Goodrow, who became a free agent after winning cup number two with the Tampa Bay Lightning. In July, Goodrow signed a multi-year deal to join the New York Rangers for the 2021-22 season.

Stan Butler tweeted a photo of the special Battalion reunion photo with Hockey's Holy Grail.
