A new left-turn signal will soon go live at a busy intersection.

"Please be advised that a new left-turn signal will soon be activated on Airport Road, heading east and turning onto O’Brien Street towards Golf Club Road," the City of North Bay stated in a release.

The City says the signal is expected to be fully operational by early next week, following the completion of final safety tests.

This new left turn signal, along with the recently activated left turn on Airport Road onto O’Brien Street towards Ski Club Road, is equipped with wireless detection sensors that activate only when vehicles are present.
