Fire crews from station 3 and station 1 responded to yet another kitchen fire yesterday afternoon at 4:30 at 875 Memorial Drive.
Fire crews provided medical attention to the tenant of the home who suffered burns to her upper body while attempting to extinguish the fire. She received further medical attention at the hospital.
The fire department has recently seen a dramatic spike in the number of kitchen fires.
