A lot of elbow grease

The Nutcracker ballet may have been the last scheduled public performance for the 2006 season at the Capitol Centre, but watching the technical crew scrubbing down the theatre floor is a production all on its own.

The Nutcracker ballet may have been the last scheduled public performance for the 2006 season at the Capitol Centre, but watching the technical crew scrubbing down the theatre floor is a production all on its own.

The crew is using a great deal of elbow grease cleaning off the debris that has built up under the seats over the past twenty years in preparation for new improved theatre seats.

The new seats will be in place for the first production in January 2007.
