Three brothers put their heads together to do some good for the North Bay Food Bank this Saturday as part of the Children’s Charity Fair.

Kaedyn, Briir and Khov Long set up at the Northgate Shopping Centre and sold pixel items along with medieval bread and muffins which they sold for up to $5.00 each.

Their father Marc coaches his boys in hockey and in the past two years his Atom Trappers’ team has collected the most food as part of the Coach4Food program which ended last year.

Kaedyn, the oldest son, played on that team, but all the brothers took notice.

“They love the Food Bank,” said Marc Long who noted the boys worked on the pixel items for the past two months.

The North Bay Food Bank recognized the efforts.

“The Food Bank was fortunate enough to have two groups of children collecting for us this year at the Children's Charity Fair,” said North Bay Food Bank Manager Amber Livingstone.

“The Long boys took the time to make some wonderful loom bracelets to sell, and raised over $100 for the Food Bank.”
