The North Bay Police Service is assisting the Ottawa Police Service in a missing person investigation, concerning a female that has been missing for five years.
The public is asked to assist in any way possible to locate Tara Sculptor, who would now be 39 years old. June 1, marks the fifth anniversary of the disappearance of Tara Sculptor, who was 34 at the time of her disappearance. The Ottawa Missing Persons Unit and her family are renewing their call for the public’s help.
Tara is described as a white woman, 5’6” (168 cm), 180 lbs (82 kg), with scarring on her face and body. At the time of her disappearance, she had auburn-coloured shoulder-length hair and green eyes.
On May 31, 2019, Tara was last seen at an Ottawa bus terminal purchasing a bus ticket to North Bay. It is believed she boarded the bus and rode it as far as Petawawa. It is possible she never arrived in North Bay and may have disembarked anywhere between Petawawa and North Bay.
She was wearing a long black leather coat, black jeans, and black shoes and carrying a pink backpack.
Anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Tara is asked to call the Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222.
