Phoenix Building Components has broken ground on a new facility to be built in Sundridge.
Phoenix has been around for a few years, but the design team and plant have been operating in separate areas.
This new facility will boast several different styles of truss designs within the roof system which will be visible from inside the office as giant exposed beams with natural light.
"This is a long time coming and both the plant staff, shipping team, and design team are eager to work together in one location," says a company spokesperson.
The groundbreaking took place on June 26.
"Our service and products are game-changing for many," says its website. "Modern technology has allowed us to increase productivity, decrease the margin of error, set higher quality control standards, and improve cost management. As more building professionals turn to prefab components, we plan to continue to take our world-class design and manufacturing across North America."
