Police lay murder charge in North Bay man's death

On November 21 police found a deceased male in the area of Kirkpatrick's Road and Highway 124. The man was later identified as 34-year-old Preston Daultrey of North Bay, and the death was deemed a homicide

An arrest has been made a murder charge laid in relation to a recent homicide investigation in Magnetawan that resulted in the death of a North Bay man.

On November 21 Almaguin Highlands OPP discovered a deceased man in the area of Kirkpatrick's Road and Highway 124. The person was later identified as 34-year-old Preston Daultrey of North Bay, and the death was deemed a homicide. Police said at the time there was no threat to public safety.

As a result of the investigation, Dallas Snow, a 32-year-old female from Emsdale has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

Snow remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound today.

The Almaguin Highlands OPP Crime Unit has continued its investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, and with assistance from the OPP Forensic Identification Services, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
