LIES TO POLICE
On the 10th of March Cst. Andre Berube and Anthony Corrente of the North
Bay Police Service attended a fight in progress on Milani Rd. Once there, it is alleged that while investigating the incident, one of the male combatants gave officers a false name.
Further investigation resulted in acquiring the true name of the individual.
Waylon James STEWART 21 years old of Division St. in North Bay is charged with 3 counts of Breach of Recognizance, Obstruct Justice and Personation With Intent. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
BREAK & ENTER & DRUGS
On the 10th of March during the evening hours Cst. Larry Asselin and Tom Robertson of the North Bay Police Service attended a break and enter in progress. The officers arrived and arrested a male in the area.
He was also allegedly found in possession of suspected marijuana and cocaine.
Jordan VAN MIERLO 21 years old of Cedar St. is charged with 3 counts of Possession For the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Breach of Recognizance and Break and Enter With Intent. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
BREAK & ENTERS
For the second time in 10 days, a break and enter occurred into the Submarine Place on Algonquin Av. Thieves forced their way into the premises via the back door in both cases. Once inside, the thieves stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The last entry took place overnight on the 9th of March.
Overnight on the 10th of March, thieves entered Lewis Motors Sales on Hewitt Dr. in North Bay. Once inside they stole cash and also moved two computers to another room but these were not taken.
During daylight hours on the 10th of March thieves forced their way into an apartment in the 400 block of Main St. W. Once inside they stole a stereo, 2 cell phones and 3 sweat shirts. The stereo has since been recovered, pawned at a local pawnshop.
