911 Call Leads to Plants On the 6th of March just after 11pm officers of the North Bay Police Service attended a residence in the city after receiving a 911 call and the caller hanging up.

On the 6th of March just after 11pm officers of the North Bay Police Service attended a residence in the city after receiving a 911 call and the caller hanging up. The officers were denied access and having a concern for the well being of occupants never the less made their way in. Once inside the residence they saw that there were several marijuana plants in various stages of growth. The 45 year old male occupant was charge with Possession of Marijuana and Unlawfully produce marijuna. He is to appear in court on the 13th of April.

Theft of Snowmachine
During the early morning hours on March 7 thieves stole a trailer and snowmachine from a local hotel parking lot on Pinewood Park Drive. The trailer was a white enclosed fibreglass model containing a 2004 Skidoo Rev 800 model with registration number 940897.

Break and Enter
Shortly after midnight on March 6 thieves forced their way into a residence in the 400 block of Algonquin Ave. Once inside they stole a Play Station 2 with various games, and several DVD discs.

Between Feb. 13th and March the 7th thieves forced their way into a garage in the 400 block of Lansdowne Avenue and stole a Sears chop saw.

Between March and 6 someone made their way into an unoccupied apartment in the 1100 block of Birchcove Road and then caused damage. Holes were made in the walls as well as graffiti being sprayed about. There had been several males seen in the unit on March 6.

Shortly before 9 p.m. on March 7 thieves pried open the front door of Dan's Affordables on McIntyre Street West in North Bay. Nothing appears to have been taken at the time of the report.
