ICE CREAM HIGH

On July 26 last year a man attended the North Bay General Hospital to visit a pregnant female prisoner who was hospitalized.
At this time he brought ice cream that contained Morphine. Cst. Ray Yelle and Aaron Northrup
became suspicious due to various circumstances and consequently sent a sample away for analysis.

When the test came back positive the officers
attended a residence in Powassan on the 31st of Jan. and arrested this male person. Edward Skuce, 35, of English Line in Powassan is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and was held for a bail hearing.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES
On Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. an expensive camera was left momentarily at the side of a foot trail in Champlain Park in North Bay. When the owner returned the camera was gone. The owner followed two sets of snowshoe tracks back to
the parking lot where they disappeared. It is possible the finders thought that the camera had been abandoned and the North Bay Police Service asks that the finders contact us at 497-5555.
The camera is described as a Canon D-60 with a Canon Zoom lens and a Flash Card attachment. It is valued at $4000.
