MAN THREATENS BY TELEPHONE
On Aug. 8 shortly after 1 a.m. a man called another man in North Bay and threatened to kill him. The North Bay Police Service was notified and Cst. Sue Solman, with back-up, attended a local motel and arrested a male.
Cory YOUNG, 20, of Worthington Street E is charged with threatening and breach of probation. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
BREAK AND ENTER ARRESTS
On Aug. 7 shortly before 3 a.m., Lowell Security attended St. Joseph Scollard Hall Secondary School and observed that a break and enter had occurred and that the culprits could still be in the building.
The North Bay Police Service was called and various officers attended and secured the perimeter of the school. Shortly after, a man and a woman exited the building and were arrested by constables Jason Long, Greg Randall and Bruce Whitehead.
Gregory DINWOODIE, 21, of Michener Drive, and Kathryn Anne WOOD, 20, are both charged with break and enter and theft. They are to appear in court Sept. 28.
BREAK AND ENTER
Overnight Aug. 8 thieves entered a home in the 100 block of Parsons Avenue and stole tools as well as a 1993 Jeep, Ont. licence APJN 762, green in colour. Constables Peter Brunette and Ken Rice are presently following leads.
