A Mattawa man is facing criminal charges related to numerous stolen itwms.
On October 2 the North Bay OPP Community Street Crime Unit investigated an occurrence involving several stolen items located on a property associated with the accused.
A search of a property on Highway 533 in Mattawan Township, led to the seizure of a stolen 2012 Tracer Ultralight Travel Trailer, 2021 Can Am UTV, a 700-watt generator, a compound bow, a crossbow, and a second generator.
Shawn Miller, 51, is charged with:
- Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Fail to comply with a release order
- Fail to comply with a probation order
- Possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - cocaine
The accused appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in North Bay on October 2 and was remanded into custody.
