ANOTHER ARREST RE LARGE FIGHT
On Aug. 19 during the afternoon hours detective constables Ray Yelle and Barry Ramsay of the North Bay Police Service attended a residence on
Wickstead Avenue and effected an arrest. This was in relation to the large fight previously reported in the Birchaven area of the city.

The 30-year-old male victim had suffered significant facial injuries.

David BEAUCHAMP, 20, of no fixed address, is charged with assault, bodily harm. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

FALSE MESSAGE
On Aug. 19 during the late evening hours, a man called a local help line and advised that he had hooked up a propane tank within his residence.

This tank would be set up in a manner that if anyone would approach the residence, he would blow it up.

Constables Henri O'Neil and Ray Whitehead of the North Bay Police Service responded to the address in question and located a propane tank within an apartment along with an electrical cord. The man was arrested.

Michael James REID, 34, of Princess Street E is charged with Convey False Message, Breach of Probation and Breach of Recognizance. He remains in
custody for a bail hearing.
