The driver of a pickup truck that hit the ditch on Development Road in Bonfield was arrested for impaired driving.
On December 29, just after 7 p.m., North Bay OPP were called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident.
As a result of the investigation, the driver was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the North Bay OPP Detachment for further testing.
The driver, Jolan St Jean, 32, from Powassan is charged with operation while impaired, and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 30.
The accused was issued a 90-day driver's licence suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
