Do you recognize these suspects in debit card theft?

The victim in this incident was at the bank machine at the RBC Royal Bank branch on Stockdale Road

The North Bay Police Service is appealing to the public for help identifying three suspects in a recent debit card theft.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. on October 11, the male victim went to the RBC Royal Bank branch on Stockdale Road.

The victim tried to withdraw money from an ATM but was unable to do so.

Police say the male suspect in this incident approached the victim and took the victim’s debit card from him, claiming to be assisting him. The suspect then returned what the victim later realized was a debit card belonging to another individual.

By this time, the suspect had fled the area.

The victim later discovered cash had been withdrawn from his bank account without his knowledge.

The North Bay Police Service has identified three suspects believed to be involved in this incident.

The male suspect is described as:

  • Slim build
  • Medium height

At the time of the incident was wearing: a red baseball hat, a mask covering the lower half of his face, blue jeans, black and white running shoes, green jacket.

The first female suspect is described as:

  • Slim build
  • Medium height
  • Shoulder length black or dark-brown hair

At the time of the incident wearing: a blue jacket, mask covering the lower half of the face, blue jeans, and black and white running shoes.

The second female suspect is described as:

  • Slim build
  • Medium height
  • Long black or dark-brown hair

At the time of the incident wearing: a black jacket, grey or light blue pants, white and black running shoes, black toque/beanie-style hat, carrying a large white purse.

The North Bay Police Service has reason to believe the suspects are involved in similar incidents that have occurred across the province of Ontario.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspects in this incident, including dash cam or security camera footage from the area around the time of the incident is asked to contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555.
