A call about a domestic dispute at a North Bay home turned out badly for the participants as police discovered drugs estimated to be worth over a quarter of a million dollars.
Three people were arrested as police seized over $ 281,000 worth of illegal drugs.
North Bay Police Service laid charges against a 43-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, and a 17-year-old girl.
Police say that at 11 p.m. on November 19, officers went to the home in response to reports of a fight and disturbance.
"Upon entering the residence, police observed illegal drugs and arrested the three accused. On November 20 members of the North Bay Police Service executed a search warrant on the residence," says a release.
The search resulted in the seizure of:
- 565 grams of Fentanyl
- 630 grams of cocaine
- 649 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- A set of brass knuckles (prohibited weapon)
The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $281,250.
Charged are three North Bay residents.
A 43-year-old man is charged with:
- Three counts of trafficking in a Schedule I substance
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
A 35-year-old woman is charged with:
- Three counts of trafficking in a Schedule I substance
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
A 17-year-old girl is charged with:
- Three counts of trafficking in a Schedule I substance
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
Police say in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, they cannot release the name or identifying information of the young person charged. In order to prevent the identification of the young person, the names of the two other accused have also been withheld.
All three were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
