The North Bay Elks Lodge is hosting two events on Saturday, Oct. 15 for the public to meet, greet and hear the municipal election candidates' responses to important questions from the community.
Citizens are encouraged to attend one or both of the events. They are free of charge but organizers say they will happily accept a donation for the local food bank.
All are welcome to mingle, chat, and ask questions of the candidates one on one from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Members of the public are also invited to the evening debate from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Questions submitted in advance by the public will be posed to the candidates. Send your debate questions to [email protected].
The Elks Lodge says this will be a great opportunity to see both mayoral and council candidates on the stage at the same time in smaller, rotating groups of five or six.
