The East Nipissing Dig-Safe Atom A Vipers beat the Wasaga Stars 4-1 on Sunday, February 9th to win the Clarion Resort / Pinewood Park Vipers Face-Off tournament at the Astorville Arena.
The team beat out other competitors including the Powassan Hawks, West Ferris Trappers, Elliot Lake Vikings, Nipissing Siding, and the Kapuskasing North Stars.
Notching goals for the Vipers in the final game were Wolf Gillespie (2), Sam Mitchell and Clark McMillan. Ben Gaudreau also put in a solid performance between the pipes.
