The Franco-Cité Patriotes won their first ever NDA junior boys basketball championship with a 71-39 victory over the St Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears to sweep the best-of-three series in two straight.
Nickolas Lebeau led the way for the Pats scoring 21 while Caleb Cain-Plante added 13.
Nolan Reynolds had 10 for the Bears while John-Henry Merkley had 9.
Both teams now get ready for the NOSSA championship this weekend.
Franco-Cité will play in the 'A' championship at West Ferris while Scollard Hall will participate in the 'AAA' championship at home.
