North Bay Skating club shines in Chelmsford

The North Bay Skating Club attended the Star 1-4 Nickel Blades on ice, a sanctioned event by Skate Ontario in Chelmsford on Saturday.

For some of the girls, it was their first time competing and for others, it was their first time competing since the lockdown in 2020, and competitions were put on hold.

Coaches say it was great to see the girls cheering for each other after they had skated.

"We would like to wish the star 5 and up girls who will be travelling to Stratford, Ontario this weekend to compete in the Super Series - Stratford December Classic, good luck and great success," the coaching staff stated in a release.
